Andrew R. Cissna is a free-lance lighting designer in the Washington, DC Metro area, designing lighting for

theatre, dance, and musicals. Follow the links for photos of each and find more examples

Andrew holds a BFA in Lighting Design from the North Carolina School of the Arts and an MFA in Lighting Design

from the University of Maryland. For the 2006-2007 season, he was the acting lighting designer in

residence for the John F. Kennedy Center's Theatre for Young Audiences as part of the Thomas S. Kenan Fellowship.

He is currently the Lighting Coordinator for the Spoleto Festival USA and teaches at the University of Maryland.
